This is likely to work the same way on the Xbox and PC versions. You do not need the original Rocksmith to play any DLC songs in Rocksmith 2014. While this information is confirmed for the German version, I cannot guaranteed that there are no differences in other countries, but the list of missing song goes in accordance with the English FAQ of Rocksmith 2014, that says that. However i heard issues with PC and not being able to purchase the orgianal DLC without the orginal Rocksmith I'm using a PS3, and all DLC shows up from both in Rocksmith 2014 for purchase. For most of the custom DLC out there, this song is Cherub Rock. The DLC, assuming you bought it on the same platform (ps3, xbox, pc) you have 2014 on, will import into the new Rocksmith without any extra charges. It seems that in an older version of the import tool there were more songs missing, but in the current version all songs from the original Rocksmith disc can be imported, except for: The reason you need to do this is that Rocksmith 2014 custom DLC works by essentially disguising itself as another song.
